Matrix students sweta priyadarshany, shainy das and prathivya gupta won team gold, silver and bronze medal in Asian school chess championship at Delhi 2011 in under 13 girls category. Sweta priyadershany won team gold and silver medal and shainy das got bronze in this category, and in other category under 5 girls group prathivya gupta won bronze medal, Aansh gupta has shown brilliant performance in under 9 boys category and won 4th position.
